Bridgesheet

Methodology

A model is only worth something if it can be read and trusted. Here is how every Bridgesheet workbook is built and verified.

01

What every file contains

Example: DCF file, English labels.
    • Cover

    Cover

    Company, currency, check status, contents.

    • Inputs

    Inputs

Every assumption, and nothing else, in blue.

    • Income statement
    • Balance sheet
    • Cash flow
    • Debt
    • DCF

    Calculation sheets

One formula per row, copied unchanged across years; key parameters use defined names.

    • Outputs

    Outputs

    Key results and sensitivity tables.

    • Checks

    Checks

Green when OK, red on error, summarised on the cover.

  • No circular references
  • No hardcoded numbers in calculations
  • Formulas that work in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice
02

Verified on every release

Every model is calculated twice: by our engine, and by a spreadsheet application that recalculates the generated file. Both results must match to the millionth, or the release does not ship.
